Discovery Space of Central Pennsylvania is an exciting new museum where children can experience science first-hand. With a compact museum of interactive exhibits, Discovery Space was designed to stimulate curiosity and spark imagination as children learn about the world around them.

Located adjacent to Friedman Park in the heart of downtown State College, Discovery Space is THE place for fun, educational science exploration in Central Pennsylvania. Families, school classes, birthday groups, and more…they all love dynamic science discovery in a hands-on, sensory, fun-filled environment.

This nonprofit museum grew out of grassroots support for a mission that would benefit our children, our community, and our future. Through partnerships with local individuals, organizations, and businesses, Discovery Space of Central Pennsylvania has become an important new focal point in our region, and in our children’s education.
