Stars in the night sky Star Parties
 
Fridays, September 4, and October 2
Check out the night skies with the Central PA Observers and us! Once a month, while astronomers set up telescopes in the park, we will provide hands-on activities for kids. Then, when it's dark enough, take a peek through a variety of telescopes. These events are free and open to the public. Great for families or just adults!
 
September 4
Discovery Space arrives at 7pm; telescope observing from 8:30-10:30pm - Bernel Road Park
 
October 2
Discovery Space arrives at 6pm; telescope observing from 7:30-9:30pm - Bernel Road Park

Every Wednesday, 2 sessions: 10:30-11 and 11-11:30
Visit with your baby to explore science together through books and movement. Perfect for adults with a 6-month to 2-year-old child. Free with membership or paid admission.
 
Please note: This weekly program will be on vacation beginning in June and will return on September 9.
 

Science Adventures
 
Every Thursday, 11-11:30am
Join us for our favorite, free preschool program.We are planning new science activities and hope to see you there! Want a longer experience? Visit early for story time, starting at 10:30 am on Thursdays. Free with membership or paid admission!

Lunar EclipseLunar Eclipse Party
 
September 27 starting at 7pm at Tudek Park
Join us to start the party with family-friendly science activities and then stay to watch the lunar eclipse! The eclipse begins just after 8pm with the total eclipse at 10:45pm. Drop in for as little or as long as you like. The event is free and open to the public. The Central PA Observers will be there to celebrate with us!
 

Homeschool Days
 
The first Friday of each month from 12:00-3:00pm are Homeschool Days. Homeschool families are admitted at the group rate of $5 per person during this time.
