Adam Swartz Puppets presents
a Hands-On Up-Cycled Puppet Workshop

Turn old bottle caps, cereal boxes, fabric scraps, and other craft supplies into a hand puppet. Make a character using found items, then bring it to life before your eyes. Kids and adults of all ages are invited to drop in and get creative! Feel free to bring your own items but we will have lots of materials to share!

Magical Adventures for Talented Heroines and Heroes


Tuesdays, July 19, 26, and August 2
starting at 1:30 and 2pm (sessions last approximately one hour)


Schlow Centre Region Library and Discovery Space
Students grades 1-5 discover a magical land where everyone speaks a universal language. Join fellow heroines and heroes as they listen to a story, learn a special language skill, engage in a creative hands-on activity, and discover an exciting new place to explore!

This progressive one-hour adventure begins at the Schlow Library community room and ends at the Discovery Space of Central PA children's science museum. MATHH participants will be issued a special pass to Discovery Space. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This program is sponsored by AAUW State College Branch.

Every Wednesday 10:30-11am
Visit with your baby to explore science together through books and movement. Perfect for adults with a 6-month to 2-year-old child. Free with membership or paid admission.

Water Splash Science Adventures
 
Every Thursday, 10:30-11:30am
Join us for our favorite, free preschool program! This season, the program starts with a story and then dives into inquiry based explorations with water. Children and families are welcome to attend the story portion, the program portion or both. Free with membership or paid admission.

Music Notes Music Makers
 
Fridays, 10:30-11am
For children 5 and under and their parent/guardians
Join us for a rhythmic good time every Friday! This program includes stories and musical explorations for children and adults to enjoy together. Free with membership or paid admission.

Homeschool Days
 
The first Friday of each month from 12-3pm are Homeschool Days. Homeschool families are admitted at the group rate of $5 per person during this time.
