Graphic Design / Interpretation Internship

Join Discovery Space as a Graphic Design/Interpretation Intern. You’ll work with staff and volunteers at Discovery Space to write and design a variety of interpretive mater
ials and signage to be used throughout the museum. This internship is ideal for someone interested in science education and/or museum education, as you will be challenged to create materials that explain complex scientific concepts to young children, or someone who wants to build a portfolio of design.
 
Qualifications:
  • College or graduate student; some design and education experience preferred but not required;
  • Ability to work well in a team and have strong time management skills (project deadlines will vary);
  • Experience working with at least two of three Adobe Creative Suite software: InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Internship requires a commitment of at least 3 hours a week, minimum 15 weeks. This is an unpaid internship. Start/end dates are flexible.
